The four-year project, which began in 2004, was a collaborative effort to study growth and development in northwestern Vermont as it related to the region’s transportation infrastructure. The project was funded by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans).
Eight planning tools have been developed as a result of the project to assist municipalities with managing growth and development while protecting character and resources.
